I would like to mention one small factor about the uses of a print taken by Daniel Forster.
First, I was a sailor before I became a site developer.
I have always had a passion for drawing.
I also remember gazing off over the horizon,
the desert plains and off into to valleys of
the mountainsides. Many artists, one being
Norman Rockwell set in my mind the images of
life and how it may have been. Photographs taken
during W.W.II showed what was real or the image
that had been captured. I grew to seek wonderful
visions of boats, ships at sea, coastlines dotted
with yachts at rest.
Now, my point. Take one of Daniel's images, one that just
catches your eye. Crop a portion much like I did in the image
on this page. It shows action, background and would look great
on the wall in my office between the bookshelves and my desk.
I look at Daniel's work as art.
Today we need things around us
that show our souls. We are our own heroes and the way art is today,
it can show with the slightest hint what we are into.
I suggest you look at his work as something that will fit in many parts
of your life. It does with mine. Enjoy!
Thanks for your time, Bob Kiernan
